NFL Draft: Best Available Players For Round 2

Mocking The Draft has its list of the best players available in the NFL Draft now that Round 1 is over. Here are the top 10, which includes Penn State’s Devon Still:

11. Courtney Upshaw | 6’2 1/2, 273 pounds | Outside linebacker/end | Alabama
13. Devon Still | 6’5, 312 pounds | Defensive tackle | Penn State
15. Jonathan Martin | 6’6, 305 pounds | Offensive tackle | Stanford
16. Peter Konz | 6’5, 313 pounds | Center | Wisconsin
23. Brandon Thompson | 6’2, 310 pounds | Defensive tackle | Clemson
25. Cordy Glenn | 6’5 1/2, 346 pounds | Tackle/guard | Georgia
27. Janoris Jenkins | 5’10, 183 pounds | Cornerback | North Alabama
28. Andre Branch | 6’5, 260 pounds | Defensive end | Clemson
29. Lavonte David | 6’1, 220 pounds | Outside linebacker | Nebraska
30. Dwayne Allen | 6’4, 255 pounds | Tight end | Clemson

It looks unlikely that someone like Glenn could fall to the Steelers, who pick at No. 24 again at the second round. It’s true that it was also unlikely that David DeCastro would fall to them in the first round, but if there were a consensus top 10 remaining talents, Glenn would pretty clearly be in it. Still, it’s certainly possible that the Steelers could continue to look for offensive linemen Friday night, as there are several decent ones still available.

Be sure to check out Mocking The Draft’s full list, which includes all the remaining top 100 talents in the draft.
