2012 NFL Draft: Penn State DT Devon Still Drafted 53rd Overall By Cincinnati Bengals

Penn State defensive tackle Devon Still was drafted in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft with the 53rd overall pick by the Cincinnati Bengals. Still's selection was in line with those of most analysts, who predicted that he would be drafted in the second round.

The 6-foot-5, 320-pound Still is an immense talent who emerged as one of the best interior lineman last year. Still totalled 49 tackles and 4.5 sacks his senior year in Happy Valley. Still is a force at the point of contact, rarely moved off the line of scrimmage and regularly pushed opposing offensive lineman into the backfield. Has a knack of knowing where the ball will go and finding a way to get there. His quick hands and long arms allow him to shed blocks easily on the way to the ball carrier. Can play either tackle position, and has the frame to add some weight while keeping the same quickness off the ball. Still does have a history of injuries, but his upside should offset those fears.
