2012 Masters: Tiger Woods Looking To Win First Major In Over Two Years

Play is underway at the 2012 Masters tournament, and the big topic of discussion is whether or not Tiger Woods can regain his form in Major Tournaments.

Once a year the game of golf is put on display at the Masters Tournament in a tradition unlike any other. Augusta National is one of, if not the most beautiful venues in all of golf and it gives players an opportunity to go down in the great history of the sport. They also hand out a pretty awesome sport coat if you win. Opening round play is already underway at Augusta, but here is a quick look at some of the story lines that we will be following this week.

Can Tiger Woods win his first Major Tournament since the incident that cost him two years of his career? How will his lower body, which has been injured so much over the past couple of seasons, hold up to the grueling conditions? The TV coverage of the event could be focused solely on him over the next few days (and it probably will be to some extent) and it would still be compelling.

But there are a ton of other interesting players to follow as well. Rory McIlroy trying to rebound from his meltdown in this tournament last year. Phil Mickelson at a course where he has some success. And a whole host of young guys like Rickie Fowler, Bubba Watson, Jason Day and even amateur Patrick Cantlay, hoping to break through on golf's biggest stage.

We'll have coverage of this tournament throughout the weekend in this StoryStream.
