Flyers Vs. Penguins Final Score: Pittsburgh Pulls Away To 4-2 Win

The Pittsburgh Penguins led the Philadelphia Flyers 4-2 after the first two periods of play, as the two teams traded goals early. The Penguins pulled away in the second half when Sidney Crosby picked up his eighth goal of the season to give the Penguins the 3-2 lead in the second period.

Evgeni Malkin added an insurance goal before the end of the second period to give the Penguins the 4-2 lead. Pittsburgh was able to hold off the Flyers rally in the third period and things got a bit chippy as Jody Shelley picked up a 10-minute misconduct penalty just two-minutes into the final period.
