On Sunday in the final round of the 2012 Masters in Augusta, the competition has been every bit as intense as expected. Tiger Woods went out with a whimper, going 2-over on the day to finish at 5-over in the tournament and effectively put to bed all hopes of winning his fifth green jacket.
Rory McIlroy, another favorite to win as the tournament opened on Thursday, had a borderline-disastrous final round, going 4-over on Sunday to also wind up with a final score of 5-over.
The current leaders on Sunday is Louis Oosthuizen at 7-under through 12 holes. He's had a spectacular round, including the second-ever double-eagle on Augustas' second hole. Ian Poulter is also making a late move, at 6-under through 15, joining Phil Mickelson, Peter Hanson, Lee Westwood, Bubba Watson and Matt Kuchar, all just one stroke back.
