Bubba Watson took home the top prize following the final round of the 2012 Masters in Augusta on Sunday. Watson finished 72 holes tied atop the leaderboard with Louis Oosthuizen and required two playoff holes to win the tournament and the prestigious green jacket that denotes a Masters winner.
The jacket wasn't the only thing Watson won, of course. As the winner of the tournament, Watson takes home the bulk of the purse, winning $576,000 more than Oosthuizen will take home as a result of the South African's unfortunate second shot and eventual bogey on the final sudden-death playoff hole. The four-way tie for fourth place between Phil Mickelson, Peter Hanson, Lee Westwood and Matt Kuchar netted each of the mean over a quarter of a million dollars for their 8-under.
Here are the unofficial totals of the purses for the top 10 finishes in the 2012 Masters.
