Duquesne basketball let go of coach Rob Everhart and are now searching for a new head basketball coach. With all NCAA tournaments over and completed, the full coaching search can now begin. One coach Duquesne is targeting is Long Island head coach Jim Ferry, according to a report by Jerry DiPaola.
I have heard from multiple sources who I know, trust -- but no one in authority -- that Duquesne is targeting Long Island coach Jim Ferry

Jim Ferry has been the head coach of the Long Island Blackbirds since the 2002 season, after previously coaching Adelphi, and Plymouth State. Ferry has a overall record of 150-149 with Long Island and has made the NCAA Tournament twice, with a record of 0-2 in the tournament. Fans of Pittsburgh basketball have seen plenty of his LIU teams, thanks to LIU's confrontations with Robert Morris in the Northeast Conference.
