The Duquesne exodus of 2012 is underway. It was revealed last month that Danny Herrera, T.J. McConnell and Mike Talley would all transfer, leaving the Dukes behind after their 2011-2012 season. Talley is the first of the transfer troika to find a new landing spot. According to Jenn Menendez of the Post-Gazette, Talley will take his talents to Eastern Michigan.
Talley, a 5-foot-11 guard, just finished his sophomore season with the Dukes. Talley logged 640 minutes in 31 games last season. He started in three games. He finished the year with 231 points, an average of 7.5 per game. He averaged 1.2 rebounds per game this year as well.
Talley announced that he would leave Duquesne via Twitter on March 20. At last report, McConnell was linked to Arizona, and there has not been an update on Herrera's status.
