2013 NFL Draft: Potential Steelers Targets

While the 2013 NFL Draft is a ways away, its never too early to look at possible players that a team could be interested in. The folks at Behind The Steel Curtain have compiled a list of 15 players that the Pittsburgh Steelers could be looking at to address some needs.

These positions include running back, defensive line, linebacker and secondary. The list on the Curtain's post does not include the top 15 prospects, mainly because the expectation is that the Steelers will not pick that high. The first player the Curtain has profiled is Arkansas Razorbacks running back Knile Davis.

Knile Davis has incredible speed and vision and has great cuts. He is a good pass catcher, seems decent in blocking, and has the tools to be a fantastic feature back in the NFL. However, he is coming off a major injury that kept him out for the entire 2011-2012 season and will need a strong, bounce-back season to solidify himself as a first round pick.

Other players that the Curtain has on their list include nose tackles Johnathan Hankins from Ohio State and Star Lotulelei from Utah, inside linebackers Manti Te'o of Notre Dame and Shayne Skov of Stanford and cornerbacks Demarcus Milliner of Alabama, Jonathan Banks of Mississippi State and Logan Ryan of Rutgers.
