Preakness Stakes 2012 Payouts: Heavy Favorites Finish At The Top

At 2-1 odds, Bodemeister was the favorite heading into the second leg of the Triple Crown -- the Preakness -- on Saturday in Baltimore. I'll Have Another, who won the Kentucky Derby two weeks ago, was close behind at No. 2. The heavy favorites lived up to the billing, as I'll Have Another won the race, with Bodemeister at No. 2, leading in part to smaller but decent payouts. The top money centered on the superfecta, where one must predict the top four finishers correctly.

Here are the payouts from today's race for win, along with the place and show.

I'll Have Another: $8.40 $3.80 $2.80

Bodemeister: $3.20 $2.80

Creative Cause: $3.60
