2013 NFL Mock Draft: Will Pitt's Devin Street Be A First Rounder?

The 2013 NFL Draft is still a ways away, but there is no reason why we can't put out ridiculously early projections that will ultimately be proved false, probably laughably so. One of those projections says that Pitt wide receiver Devin Street could eek his way into the first round. Nobody knows Street better than our Pitt blog Cardiac Hill, let's see what they have to say about the prospect.

Many times, players go higher based on potential. But while Street has definitely shown he has big play ability and should continue to get better, I just haven't seen enough from him to make me even think he's not even going to be around in 2013. Projecting where players are going to end up is insane at this point. The NFL season isn't even close to kicking off and we have no idea what the draft order will look like. But the fact that Street is projected that high to begin with is interesting to say the least.

Street might not have the production this year that we would like to see from a first round pick, but he does have a lot of potential, meaning that he could work his way into the first round during workouts and the Combine.
