Pirates Vs. Indians Final Score: Cleveland Takes Game One From Pittsburgh, 2-0

The Pittsburgh Pirates and Cleveland Indians kicked off their three-game, weekend set on Friday at Progressive Field and in the first game, the home team held serve and took the first game by a score of 2-0.

For the Pirates, Neil Walker and Casey McGehee connected on two hits in the game while Josh Harrison had one hit, but that was it for Pittsburgh as those five hits represent the only ones of the day for Pittsburgh. James McDonald was credited with the loss for the Pirates as he pitched six innings giving up three hits and one earned run and striking out five Cleveland batters.
