Steelers rookie Mike Adams injured his right knee in Thursday night's 24-23 loss against the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, but a couple of days later, things aren't looking so bad for the offensive lineman.
The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review's Alan Robinson tweets Adams has his knee wrapped at Pittsburgh's training camp today in Latrobe, but that the rookie says the injury is "not serious," and will not require surgery. There is no timeframe for his return just yet, but he doesn't expect to miss more than one game.
The Steelers selected Adams with the No. 56 overall pick in the second round of April's NFL Draft in New York. The 6-foot-3, 323-pound tackle played last season at Ohio State before heading the the pro ranks.
