2012 London Olympics: Coleman Scott Wins Bronze In Wrestling 60kg

Coleman Scott from Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, took home a bronze medal after beating Japan's Kenichi Yumoto in the men's freestyle 60kg (132 pounds) third place match on Saturday night in London. Scott came back to beat Yumoto, winning the final two rounds after losing the first round of the match.

Scott lost in the semifinals to the eventual champion of the event, Azerbaijan's Toghrui Asgarov. The bronze medal is Team USA's second medal in two days. Jordan Burroughs took home the gold medal in the men's freestyle 74kg (163 pounds) event.

Also competing from Pittsburgh on Saturday was Pittsburgh-native Jake Herbert. Herbert did not medal, but made it to the quartefinals in the men's freestyle 84kg (185 pounds) event.

Scott, a former wrestler for Oklahoma State University, won the 2012 Olympic Team Trials Champion earlier in the year. Pittsburgh sports fans can follow the olympian at @CScott60kg.
