2012 London Olympics Daily Recap: Usain Bolt And Jamaica Win 4x100m Gold

Usain Bolt and the Jamaica 4x100m relay team are in familiar territory: world-record territory. Jamaica ran a world-record time of 36.84 seconds on Saturday night in London. Saturday's triumph caps off another successful Olympic games for Bolt, who defended his gold medals in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay races.

Also continuing their olympic dominance on Saturday was Team USA's women's basketball team. Team USA beat France 86-50 in the gold medal game, led by Candace Parkers' 21points off of the bench. This was the team's fifth straight gold medal, making them only the third team in olympic history with five straight gold medal wins.

Of local interest, Waynesburg-native Coleman Scott won his bronze medal match in the 60kg men's wrestling event. Scott came back to beat Japan's Kenichi Yumoto, winning rounds two and three after losing round one. Scott lost in the semifinals to the eventual champion of the event, Azerbaijan's Toghrui Asgarov.
