The Pittsburgh Pirates announced ticket pricing information on Friday, as the Buccos continue to battle for playoff position in both the National League Central and National League wild card races.

Season-ticket holders have the first chance at postseason tickets and can purchase them at reduced prices. They also can buy individual playoff tickets before they go on sale to the public in late September.

"Those are the fans that have been with us through thick and thin, and far too much thin," Coonelly said.

Season-ticket holders can purchase upper-deck tickets for as low as $12 for the wild-card and division series games. Dugout box seats cost $50, and the pricing tops out with the Lexus Club seats at $235.

There's a long way to go between now and a playoff game at beautiful PNC Park, but the Pirates -- and Pirates fans -- have not been in contention this late in a season in quite awhile.

Pittsburgh currently leads the second wild card spot by 1.5 games over the Los Angeles Dodgers and by two full games over the St. Louis Cardinals.

For the latest on the Pirates, head over to Bucs Dugout.
