The 2012 Summer Olympic Games continue in the second week of competition on Thursday. The United States took the lead in the overall medal count on Wednesday and have a chance to continue to add to that count with the Women's Soccer Gold Meal match. The United States sneaked through with a late goal against Canada to advance to the finals of the Olympic tournament.
The United States women's basketball team will be in action in the semifinal round, taking on Australia as they vie to advance to the finals and win another gold medal.
