U.S. Women's Volleyball Team Advances To Gold Medal Match

The U.S. women's volleyball team, with Hopewell High School graduate Christa Harmotto, defeated South Korea in the semifinals on Thursday, 25-20, 25-22, 25-22. Harmotto spoke with the Associated Press about how excited the team was to reach their second straight gold medal match.

It's a great thrill to get this far. It's why you work four years. But we're not done. We might be going in as favorites, but we've got to go at this like we have every match so far

Team USA will face either Brazil or Japan in the gold medal match on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. EDT. Team USA will enter the match against either team as the favorite, having won 21 out of 23 sets at these OIympic games.
