Marshall Vs. West Virginia 2012: Game Time, TV Schedule, Spread And More

On Saturday, Marshall will look to do something it has never done before: beat West Virginia in a football game.

Marshall is 0-11 all time against the Mountaineers, and they'll certainly have their work cut out for them as No. 11 WVU is currently favored by 21.5 points.

West Virginia returns most members of an offensive unit that scored 70 points in the 2012 Orange Bowl. The offense is lead by Heisman hopeful Geno Smith, who passed for six touchdowns in that game.

Last year's Mountaineers offense gained more yards (6104) than any West Virginia team in history.

Marshall is also coming off a bowl victory in which they defeated Florida International in the Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl. Rakeem Cato, a true sophomore, will lead the Thundering Herd offense.

The game will be televised nationally at 12 ET on FX.
