Steelers Vs. Broncos 2012: Pittsburgh Fans React To The Loss

The Pittsburgh Steelers lost their opener to the Denver Broncos 31-19 on Sunday night, as Peyton Manning threw for a pair of scores. Ben Roethlisberger threw a late interception that sealed the win for Denver, and at that point most of Pittsburgh started to look ahead to next week.

Pittsburgh fans weren't the happiest after their Sunday night loss, but they seemed to be taking the defeat at the hands of Peyton Manning and the Broncos relatively well. Here's a comment from Behind the Steel Curtain in reaction to the loss:

There's a reason

Peyton is gonna be a first-ballot hall-o- famer and go down as one of the best QBs of all time…the guys weren’t that far off IMO; they’ll look better than this next week

On the whole, most fans seemed fairly happy with what they saw. They seem to expect improvement going forward, but Peyton Manning is a tough task for any defense to handle.
