New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis and tight end Dustin Keller have both been ruled out of Sunday's Week 2 meeting with the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to head coach Rex Ryan.
Revis sustained a concussion last week in the Jets' dominating win over the Buffalo Bills when teammate Bart Scott accidentally kicked him in the head while attempting to tackle running back C.J. Spiller. The All-Pro corner had been cleared for physical activity on Wednesday but has yet to be cleared for contact.
Ryan stated on Thursday that he was not going to play Revis if he was not 100 percent, which appears to be the case.
Keller has been battling a hamstring injury and suffered a setback on Thursday. In addition, linebacker Bryan Thomas will not play on Sunday as he too is suffering from a hamstring injury.
