'Rally For Resignation' Takes Place At Penn State

Before Penn State takes on Navy on Saturday afternoon, alumni, faculty and current students will assemble on the Old Main lawn in a "Rally for Resignation."

They are demanding the resignation of all members who were on the Board of Trustees in November 2011. In addition, they are calling for Penn State University president Rodney Erickson and Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett to resign. All of these are in response to what they consider an improper handling of the Jerry Sandusky case.

The rally commenced at 10 a.m., and thanks to Laura Nichols of StateCollege.com, we can see that a large group has gathered.

According to Dave Mullaly, a group spokesman, "This is about the present and future of the university, and they have a major stake in what happens to a great institution. It is about leadership; the present and the future leadership at Penn State."
