The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without two of their top defensive players when they face the New York Jets on Sunday, as linebacker James Harrison and safety Troy Polamalu will be out with injuries.
Harrison is coming back from a knee injury, and has stated he doesn't want to rush back and cause further damage. The 34-year-old linebacker missed the Steelers' season-opening loss to the Denver Broncos.
Polamalu was held out of practice all week as he was battling an injured calf suffered in Week 1.
Also inactive for the Steelers will be QB Charlie Batch, RB Rashard Mendenhall, ILB Stevenson Sylvester, G Kelvin Beachum, and NT Alameda Ta'amu.
The Steelers and Jets are set to kick off at 4:25 ET in Heinz Field.
