The Pittsburgh Steelers lead the New York Jets, 13-10, at halftime at Heinz Field.
The Steelers got on the board first with a 45-yard field goal by Shaun Suisham on the opening drive. The Jets responded with an 8-play, 95-yard touchdown drive. Mark Sanchez found former Steeler Santonio Holmes on a 14-yard pass to cap the drive.
The second quarter began with Suisham's second 45-yard field goal of the game, which cut the Jets lead to 7-6. The Steelers gave up a Nick Folk 38-yard field goal on the Jets' first drive of the quarter. Neither team scored again until Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger ended an 11-play, 80-yard drive by finding Heath Miller with a pass from one yard out with 1:03 to play in the half.
Roethlisberger finished the half 13-of-16 passing for 148 yards and one touchdown. Sanchez was 4-of-10 passing for 80 yards and a touchdown. The Jets had 48 rushing yards in the first half, compared to 27 yards by the Steelers.
