Navy Vs. Penn State 2012: 'Mark Emmert's Grinch Heart Shrank 3 More Sizes' During Penn State Win

After back-to-back losses to open up the season, the Penn St. Nittany Lions finally got their first win of the 2012 season, their first since unprecedented sanctions were levied upon them by the NCAA, specifically NCAA President Mark Emmert.

At Penn State blog Black Shoe Diaries, the writers are not unaware that Emmert acted unilaterally in essentially eviscerating the Nittany Lions' program for what many predict to be the next decade. They're not about to forgive him, either. Here's what they had to say after PSU's big, 34-7 victory against also-winless Navy.

He took our bowls. He took scholarships. He took every victory from the last 14 years. But on a perfect late summer day, one hundred thousand fans in Happy Valley still sang and cheered an (0 - 2) Penn State squad to victory over a winless service academy.

And Mark Emmert's grinch heart shrank three more sizes. The prick.

The Nittany Lions have one win in the Bill O'Brien, but man, was it sweet for the Happy Valley faithful.
