The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed eight players to their practice squad, including two wide receivers and a tight end, per Steelers Depot.
The wide receivers signed to the practice squad are David Gilreath and Toney Clemons. Gilreath was impressive in a preseason game last month against the Indianapolis Colts, with four receptions for 78 yards. He also saw time in special teams action. Clemons was a seventh-round draft pick for Pittsburgh out of the University of Colorado, where he totalled 43 receptions for 680 yards and eight touchdowns last season for the Buffaloes.
Signed as a fullback to the practice squad was former tight end Jamie McCoy. He was likely signed to serve as a spell for injured Steelers fullback Will Johnson.
