When you look at the careers of the current quarterbacks in the AFC North, there's little question that the Pittsburgh Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger has been the best, winning two Super Bowls and putting up big numbers year after year. ESPN's SportsNation had a recent poll, though, looking at the quarterbacks for only this year so far. Even taking that into account, Roethlisberger still tops the division by a wide margin.
Currently, Big Ben leads the poll with 47 of the vote and is far ahead of the Baltimore Ravens' Joe Flacco in second (29%). Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton is third with 24% of the vote.
Roethlisberger's 109.2 rating is second in the entire NFL behind only Atlanta's Matt Ryan and his eight touchdown passes lead the league. Even though he trails Flacco in yardage and ranks just behind Dalton in completion percentage, Big Ben is still off to an All-Pro type of start with only one interception on the young season.
