Marshall Vs. WVU: Geno Smith Wins Big 12 Player Of The Week

West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith has been named the Big 12's Offensive Player of the Week for his dominating performance in the Mountaineers' 69-34 win over Marshall.

Smith completed 32 of 36 passes for 323 passing yards and four touchdowns, as well as 65 rushing yards and a touchdown. All of this was accomplished despite sitting out the entire fourth quarter.

In addition to the Big 12 honors, Smith was also named the Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week and set the school record for all-time completions and touchdown passes. The senior's career stat line includes 651 completions on 983 attempts for 7,780 passing yards with 60 touchdowns and 15 interceptions.

The team's next game will come on Saturday against James Madison at 4:30 p.m. ET.
