Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger May Miss A Late-Season Game When Baby Is Born

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has made it clear that he will not miss the birth of his child at any cost, which is expected to occur at some point over the course of the 2012 season.

In an interview with Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Roethlisberger stated that he would even be willing to miss a game if his child was born on that day.

"I'm not missing the birth of my child," Roethlisberger said emphatically. "There's no chance. I know some fans probably don't want to hear that, but there's no chance."

"We'll do everything we can to make sure it doesn't happen," Roethlisberger said of trying to avoid a game-day birth.

Roethlisberger didn't supply a due-date, but it is expected to come sometime this fall.
