U.S. Open 2012 Scores: Andy Murray Advances To Men's Final

Britain's Andy Murray did not let the elements affect him on Saturday, advancing to the 2012 U.S. Open men's final with a victory over Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic. It will be the fifth Grand Slam final appearance of Murray's career.

Murray advanced 5-7, 6-2, 6-1, 7-6 (9) over Berdych in a rain-delayed match that took three hours and 58. Berdych was more distracted by the environment, committing a whopping 64 unforced errors to just 20 for Murray.

The 2012 Open is the first major championship since the 2004 French Open to not have Roger Federer or Rafael Nadal competing in the semifinals. Murray will face the winner of Saturday's second semifinal match between Novak Djokovic and David Ferrer.
