Steelers Vs. Broncos 2012: Game Preview, Kickoff Time, TV Schedule And More

The Steelers will kick off their regular season against the Denver Broncos in an 8:20 game on NBC Sunday night.

After losing to Tim Tebow and the Broncos in the playoffs last season, the Steelers will get another shot. This time they'll have to do it against Peyton Manning, although it's unclear just how well Manning will play in 2012 after missing the entire 2011 season.

Of course, the Steelers have plenty of question marks themselves. Despite spending their first two 2012 draft picks on offensive linemen, their line is still a work in progress, especially after first-rounder David DeCastro went down with an injury in the preseason. Star wide receiver Mike Wallace spent the preseason holding out, so it's not clear how ready he'll be. And defensively, James Harrison (knee) will likely be out, and safety Ryan Clark will miss the game due to his sickle cell trait.

The Broncos are slight favorites in this one, but with plenty of uncertainty to go around, it's far from clear how this game will turn out.
