At the beginning of the football season, ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit raised some eyebrows when he picked Pitt to win the Big East. Two games into the year, that's already looking like a bad pick. So it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that Herbstreit wants a do-over.
↵Herbie took to Twitter and offered this up:
↵↵↵I told ya Pitt was the team to beat in the Big East!.Mercy..I'm all over that one..haha.1st mulligan of the yr..T. Bridgewater and the Cards
↵
It's hard to be too rough on Herbstreit, though. He went out on a limb and picked what many thought could be a darkhorse to win the conference. I don't remember seeing Pitt picked anywhere near the bottom in preseason predictions as well, so the fact that they haven't really even looked competitive is a bit of a surprise.
