Terry Henderson's six threes weren't enough for the Mountaineers to upset Oklahoma.

West Virginia lost for just the first time at home this season as Oklahoma prevailed, 67-57. The Sooners were better in the second half and Romero Osby scored 21 for OU in the win. The Mountaineers led at the half, but at 12-2 run late in the second half put it away for the Sooners.

Osby, the senior forward, pulled down nine boards to go along with his 21 points and hit all six of his free throws. Steven Pledger added 12 points on 5-of-12 shooting. Oklahoma out-shot the West Virginia, sinking 44 percent of their shots while holding the Mountaineers to 30 percent. WVU sixth man Eron Harris shot 1-of-8 and just couldn't provide his typical boost off the bench.

Some things did go right for West Virginia's offense. Freshman sharpshooter Terry Henderson led all Mountaineer scorers with 21, hitting six three-pointers. Sophomore Juwan Staten stuffed the stat sheet, scoring 10, grabbing five rebounds and assisting on seven buckets.

The Mountaineers are now 7-6 on the season and 0-1 in Big 12 play.
