On Saturday evening, the NFL announced the Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2013.
This year's group featured a number of high profile players that were some of the best the league had ever seen. Unfortunately, there were a number of deserving candidates that did not make this year's cut. Of the notables, Michael Strahan, Jerome Bettis, Charles Haley and Kevin Greene, to name a few.
Kevin Greene (160 sacks) and Charles Haley (100.5) among top pass-rushers having to wait at least another year.

Bettis and Greene were two players very deserving of Hall of Fame recognition and could be back next year. Bettis was a long-time member of the Pittsburgh Steelers, but Greene also had a stop in the Steel City. Bettis is one of the most famous runners in league history, and Greene is currently third in sacks all-time (160).
Given the profile of both of these players, expect to see them make Hall of Fame push once again in 2014.
