Penn State vs. Minnesota: Big Plays Stake Lions To 21-7 Lead

D'Anton Lynn intercepted an Adam Weber pass in the endzone, returning it 58 yards to set up a Penn State offense that went deep on it's first play after the change of possession for a touchdown. Matthew McGloin completed his first college pass to Derek Moye for a 42-yard touchdown, putting the Lions up 21-7 late in the first half.

It was a surprising play call given McGloin's lack of experience, but it paid off big time as the Lions grabbed control of the football game.Great to see Penn State get the big play it has been lacking for much of the season. Hard to remember a bigger sequence of plays for the Lions so far in 2010.

Robert Bolden continues to sit as the result of an injury earlier in the quarter. The details of his injury are still unclear.
