Penn State Vs. Lehigh: Halftime Notes

-Penn State's offense started off slow and got progressively more stagnant as the half progressed. By the end of the first half, the Lions were back into their ring-around-the-arc habits that became so prevalent in the middle of last season.

-On defense, Penn State has been pretty good. The Mountain Hawks are hitting a lot of jumpers but they've all been contested. 27 at the half is a 54 pace, which will keep you in most games. Penn State just needs to get the offense going.

-Billy Oliver entered early and stay involved on both ends throughout.

-Talor Battle leads Penn State with nine points at the break. His foul shooting remains inconsistent for a player of his caliber. That said, he can't do it all himself. Someone else has to get to the basket. That's not happening right now.

-Lehigh's Anthony D'Orazio has 14 points. If Penn State can shut him down in the second half, they might be OK.
