Furman Vs. Penn State First Half Notes: Under 4 Timeout

Penn State forces a shot clock violation on Furman's first possession out of the timeout. The interior defense looks great today. The Paladins aren't getting in the lane at all, and two of their leading scorers are forwards. Phenomenal work.

Penn State is hot from three itself. The Lions are 7-10 from deep right now for 70%.

Cammeron Woodyard checks in. He's been watching his playing time diminish as Taran Buie has stayed hot these last couple of games. As I type that, he blows a layup on a fast break after some beautiful passing from Talor Battle and Tim Frazier.

Speaking of the two starting guards, they've been active on top today. They've forced a couple turnovers and are really keying the transition offense for Penn State.

Holy Crap. The Penn State athletic people got the T-shirt machine gun thing working and it's pretty nuts. The place is just getting peppered with t-shirts. Someone better show this thing to the Pirates.

With 2:47 to play in the half, it's Penn State 36-Furman 21
