Furman Vs. Penn State First Half Notes: Halftime

It's halftime at the Jordan Center and things are looking good as Penn State leads Furman 41-25.

The women's volleyball team is being honored here at halftime. The ladies are Big Ten champs for the eighth consecutive year, though they're likely a little upset as they dropped a thriller in Minneapolis against Minnesota last night. The Lions won the first two sets but dropped the next three.Big hand for them here at the Jordan Center nonetheless.

Battle and David Jackson lead the Lions with 13 points so far. Jeff Brooks is having a quiet day by his standards with only six points, however, he made both of his shots (threes) in the first half.

The most impressive Lion in the half, though, might have been Tim Frazier. He had four points, four rebounds, two assists, three steals and a blocked shots. He's been everywhere on both sides of the ball. He's had a couple quiet games so he's probably happy to be establishing some momentum heading into the Maryland game Wednesday night.
