Furman Vs. Penn State Second Half Notes: Under 12 Timeout

Furman comes out in a 2-3 zone on defense. I'm no Red Auerbach but that doesn't seem like a very good idea considering the volume of threes Penn State is hitting right now.

Nice trap by Billy Oliver in the corner causes Furman to call timeout. Nice solo defensive play.

Man, this crowd is loving its pep band today.

Talor Battle is sporting some muttonchops on his face. Bubby has always been one to mess around with his look. We'll see how this one works for him.

Furman is still getting more than half of its points from three pointers. The Lions are just killing the Paladins in the lane right now, not only on the scoreboard, but in the rebounding stats, too.

Battle is now the first Nittany Lion ever with 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 400 assists.  What a career for the senior.

Jeff Brooks breaks into double figures again with a layup. He's off to a great start this season. He hasn't been Penn State's star today like he has been a lot so far, but he's getting the job done.

With 9:55 to play, Penn State leads 58-36. Next update will be at the under four timeout.
