Maryland Vs. Penn State Second Half Notes: Under 16 Timeout

Penn State was 1-14 from deep in the first half.

Nittany Lions' starting five returns to open the second half.

Talor Battle opens the half with a three for Penn State, draws Lions to within three.

Just a terrible pass into a double team from David Jackson on one end and an and-one foul on Jeff Brooks on the other and just like that, Maryland has opened the lead up to eight.

Tim Frazier is passing up good shots left and right. He's deferring way too much to Battle. His job is to be a distributor for this team, but not at the expense of the few good shots the Lions get.

Shots just aren't falling for Penn State. The Lions are playing good defense but it's starting to look like it's going to be another of just one of those nights for this team. We saw it way too much last year in tight games, and...well here we go again.

With 15:14 to play, Penn State trails Maryland 31-23.
