At 2:30 Wednesday, East Carolina will face Maryland in the Military Bowl. At 6:00, Illinois takes on Baylor in the Texas Bowl. And Oklahoma State and Arizona play in the Alamo bowl at 9:15.
On Thursday, Army and Southern Methodist play in the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces bowl at noon. Kansas State and Syracuse are in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl at 3:20. At 6:40, North Carolina and Tennessee play in the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl. And at 10:00, Nebraska and Washington face off in the Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl.
All those bowls for both days are on ESPN/ESPN3. Oklahoma State and Nebraska are the only ranked teams in those bowls, and there won’t be a matchup of two ranked teams until South Carolina and Florida State face off on New Year’s Eve in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl. There won’t be any BCS games until New Year’s Day, when Wisconsin takes on TCU in the Rose Bowl and Connecticut and Oklahoma face off in the Fiesta Bowl.
