Penn State has not yet confirmed David Jackson's status, however, the Big Ten Network says he's been taken to an area hospital. We'll keep you posted. None of this sounds very good though.

Penn State takes its first lead on a Talor Battle three-pointer.

Tre Bowman has checked in for Penn State seeing some rare first half minutes. Penn State has gone small with Bowman, Talor Battle and Taran Buie on the floor at the same time with Andrew Jones and Jeff Brooks down low.

Battle slams home a fast break and Duquesne calls timeout. Penn State still looks a little sloppy rotating on defense for how the Lions have played much of the year, but even without Jackson, the offense appears to be getting into a flow.

With 3:58 in the half, it's Penn State 27, Duquesne 22
