Iowa Vs. Penn State Second Half Updates: Penn State Boosts Lead

Both teams open the half by trading buckets. First few minutes here have had a lot more flow than the first half. Action on both ends and not a whole lot of whistles.

Play is stopped at 17:20 to check whether a Jeff Brooks jumper is a two or a three. It's ruled a pair and Penn State leads 33-30.

Check that...Iowa knocks down a three. All tied up.

Tim Frazier gets a basket and-one on a beautiful pass fake to Talor Battle. The Iowa defense sold out on guarding No. 12 and then had to compensate by fouling Frazier when he went up with it. Heady play by the sophomore.

Iowa has gone cold to open the half here. Lot's of misses and lots of bad misses. Lions are getting a lot of open shots down low and Iowa is settling for jumpers. Starting to feel like Penn State is getting control.

In case you're wondering, it's still snowing in State College.

David Jackson just picked up his third personal foul and is replaced by Billy Oliver. He hasn't had much of a chance to get going this evening and only has four points at the moment.

With 11:25 to play, Penn State leads Iowa 45-39.
