Jermaine Marshall has checked into the game for Penn State with 13:06 to play in the half, replacing Tim Frazier. The red shirt freshman was huge for Penn State off the bench Wednesday evening against Purdue scoring 18 points for the Nittany Lions. He should continue to see significant minutes in place of the suspended Taran Buie if he continues to play at a level even close to the one he saw against the Boilermakers.
Jeff Brooks comes up with a thunderous block for Penn State that gets the crowd into the game for Penn State. He almost sent it into the third row.
Penn State has had a lot of success in the early going at attacking the Spartans' interior defense. Forwards Jeff Brooks and Andrew Jones have already combined for 10 of Penn State's 15 points. This bodes well moving forward as the Michigan State guards defend the perimeter well.
With 11:32 to play, Penn State leads Michigan State 15-14.
