Penn State opens its Big Ten conference slate against Indiana with a 12:00 game time. The game will be on ESPNU. The Nittany Lions are 18-point favorites despite being on the road.
Also at noon, No. 19 Michigan hosts Minnesota on the Big Ten Network, and No. 24 Illinois hosts Northwestern on ESPN2/ESPN3.
At 3:30, Michigan State and Ohio State play on ABC. And at 8:00, Purdue hosts Notre Dame (ESPN) and No. 8 Nebraska travels to play No. 7 Wisconsin on ABC.
That last game is clearly the biggest one of the week, and Wisconsin is about an eight-point favorite. The Badgers haven’t been tested yet this season, blowing out all four opponents so far (UNLV, Oregon State, Northern Illinois and South Dakota, all at home). Nebraska, meanwhile, has beaten Chattanooga, Fresno State, Washington and Wyoming, but opponents have found ways to score against the Huskers – a good Washington offense scored 38 points, and even Fresno State scored 29.
