Penn State vs. Indiana: Hoosiers And Nittany Lions Tied At Halftime

On the ensuing Indiana drive, the Hoosiers inexplicably run the hurry up with just under thee minutes left in the half. The miss on a pass on first down and have a run blown up by Penn State's Jordan Hill on second down. On third down, quarterback Dusty Kiel goes deep, but the Nittany Lions' Chaz Powell picks him off. The drive takes :34 off the clock and Penn State gets a chance to take the lead before half time.

Matthew McGloin comes back at quarterback once again, and on third down, he gets the ball into Indiana territory with a first down completion to Derek Moye.

Just as the offense starts to get some momentum, though, McGloin fumbles the ball on first down. That mental mistake stalls the drive as McGloin can't dig the Lions of out the hole he put them in.

Indiana gets the ball back and runs the ball a couple of times before misfiring on third down. A poor punt sets Penn State up inside Hoosier territory with second remaining in the half. McGloin completes a pass to scoring range.

Anthony Fera comes on to attempt a 51-yard field goal with the wind against him and misses. It's 3-3 at halftime in Bloomington.
