Penn State vs. Purdue: Curtis Dukes Scores, Nittany Lions Lead, 7-0

Rob Bolden is still Penn State's quarterback for its second drive of the day. Silas Redd opens the drive with a nice 11-yard run and Bolden follows that up by hitting Brandon Moseby-Felder for 21 yards into Purdue territory. Look for Moseby-Felder to get more action than he has early on this season with starter Derek Moye missing after breaking his foot on Tuesday.

After a couple of runs from Silas Redd and Devon Smith give Penn State another first down, Bolden hits Moseby-Felder again, this time for 19 yards down to the Purdue 1-yardline. Looks like he's really trying to take advantage of his opportunity with Moye out.

Running back Curtis Dukes finishes off the drive for Penn State with a 1-yard run up the middle into the end zone for a Penn State touchdown, and the Nittany Lions lead the Boilermakers 7-0 with 4:38 remaining in the first quarter here at Beaver Stadium. That's Dukes' first career touchdown, and it appears the coaching staff plans to keep him involved, even with Brandon Beachum returning from injury today.

Penn State scoring summary: 7 plays, 73 yards, 3:14 time of possession.
