Penn State vs. Radford: Cammeron Woodyard Gets The Start

Good evening from the Bryce Jordan Center in University Park.

Senior guard Cammeron Woodyard is in Penn State's starting lineup against Radford this evening after scoring 14 points off the bench in the opener against Hartford. It's his fourth career start. Trey Lewis, Tim Frazier, Sasa Borovnjak and Billy Oliver join him in the starting lineup.

Coach Pat Chambers continues the frequent substitutions, as Jonathan Graham and Matt Glover have already checked in ahead of the first media timeout. Clearly, Chambers is still trying to get a feel for this squad as it prepares to take on No. 2 Kentucky in Connecticut this weekend.

According to sports information director Brian Siegrist, Penn State players are wearing blue sneakers to honor victims of child abuse.

Radford has jumped out to a bit of an early lead here after a pair of triples from Jareal Smith. With 15:54 to play in the first half, the Highlanders lead 6-3.
