Penn State vs. Long Island: Score Tied At Half

Both the rebounding and turnover margins are pretty tight at the moment, which has mitigated Penn State's ability to get any kind of separation. In the first two games, the Nittany Lions have been able to get big leads by simply creating more opportunities for themselves, but that's not happening so far tonight and the game remains close.

Ross Travis is a pretty tenacious rebounder. He only has two boards at the moment but his minutes have been limited. When he's in, he crashes the boards hard. If he keeps this up, he'll be a real asset in Big Ten play.

We have a tight one at the half here at the Bryce Jordan Center. We'll go to the second half with the score tied at 36 after Long Island's Julian Boyd throws down a thunderous dunk as time expires on the first half. We'll see if Penn State can get some separation in the second half.
