The refs have really taken over this game. Whistles coming in left and right. The Blackbirds have shot 27 free throws already and there are still eight minutes left as I type this.
Billy Oliver gives Penn State a 61-60 lead with a 3-pointer. He's struggling from deep again tonight, just 2-6 at this point, but that was a huge clutch shot. After a stop, Matt Glover drills another triple, and all of a sudden, it's Penn State up by four points here at the Jordan Center as Zombie Nation blares.
Interesting to watch this team deal with adversity for the first time this year. This is certainly isn't pretty, but with the calls going against them, the Lions have dug deep to weather the storm and go out ahead here late in the game.
Cammeron Woodyard seems to be around every rebound. He has six officially on the evening, but he's tipping a bunch of balls and is in the mix constantly. Not bad for a guard.
Tim Frazier hits a three and has a career high 26 points as time winds down here. He's been all over the place again.
That's it. Penn State holds on to win77-68.
We'll have more later tonight here on SB Nation Pittsburgh. Stay tuned for reaction from coach Pat Chambers and the players.
